About Our Business – Our Changes, Our Mission & Our Promise to You

In January 2012 we made the difficult decision to move forward from our flagship retail gallery and plunge into other rapidly-growing photography opportunities. We closed the doors of our beloved Makawao, Maui store after eighteen wonderful years. Randy is spending more quality time creating artwork, conducting photo workshops, expanding his artwork presence on-line, and partnering with other fine retail galleries.

We, the Randy Jay Braun Team & Family, strive to create and distribute beautiful artwork which embodies the depth and richness of our island culture. Our passion is to share our creativity and enthusiasm with our guests and to bring them simple happiness. We intend to successfully operate our small business with honesty and pride using traditional Hawaiian values as our guide.

Our Promise to You:

• We will HO’OKIPA; welcome you with our legendary service and complete giving. Our home is your home.
• We seek to share and spread the mindset of ALOHA. Aloha is the expression of unconditional kindness, hospitality and spirituality that will touch the soul of others. The arms of aloha are all-inclusive and seek to serve.
• We MALAMA our new on-line gallery; we take care of it so that it is clean, classy, inviting, educational, and fun to visit.
• We will be PONO; keeping things balanced so that everything is good and right. We will ask fair and honest prices in exchange for quality artwork, and in doing so we must cordially refuse any requests to discount.
• We will remain HAʻAHAʻA; humble and modest , yet open with our thoughts. We will treat each guest/client with respect and gratitude, regardless of whether they are young or old; rich or poor.
• We vouch for the integrity of our ‘OHANA; our own staff, and the other artisans and vendors we represent. They are long-time friends and we consider them family. We also welcome you to become part of our ‘ohana.
